BEIJING - An Interpol-wanted fugitive named Xu Chaofan was repatriated from the United States back to China after 17 years on the run, said the top anti-graft body of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday.
Xu, the former chief of Bank of China Kaiping branch in south China's Guangdong province, was allegedly involved in embezzling about US$485 million, according to a statement from the official website of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
